Hiking: Phoenix Sonoran Preserve (Southern Trails), Dixie Mountain Loop & Western Vista Trail

This is where we had to decide if we wanted to go this way or that way.
Birds nest, no one was home.
Giant sized trash in the wash.
My first hike with Frank since he returned from his summer travels.  I'm so happy to have him back.
We decided to go up there, to the top, Western Vista Trail.
*steeper than it looks*
Lizard on the rock cairn at the top of the summit.  My GPS said 2,058'.  The Preserve map says it's 2,203'.
Frank on the Western Vista Trail summit.
Summit views.
Obligatory summit photo.
Lovely 72 degree day, 5.6 miles, elevation gain 514'.
YTD miles: 84.4
