Leadville, CO

Today was similar to yesterday, I fueled my helicopter in various locations: the forest, a ski resort parking lot, and when we met at the airport, I received word that we're done with the Department of Wildlife contract. It was good to work with Jen (my pilot) and everyone I met along my travels in Colorado. It's a beautiful place.

Kremmling to Leadville, CO

Our day started in Kremmling, CO. We worked along US-24, about halfway between Vail and Leadville off Homestake Rd. The scenery along US-24 is beautiful. The twisty roads would make a great motorcycle ride. It rained all day. It's a good thing I like mud.

Kremmling to Maryland Creek Ranch to Shrine Pass to Copper Mountain Ski Resort to Maryland Creek Ranch

Today was a busy day, Jen flew about seven hours. The nice folks at Maryland Creek Ranch let us fuel there twice during the day. Mike, Leo and Paul were all exceptionally welcoming. They raise Scottish Highland Cattle, and gave us some beef to take home, thanks guys! Tomorrow we move on to Leadville.
