Phoenix Sonoran Preserve, Desert Vista Trailhead, Cactus Wren Trail

A former mine shaft. There were many old mines in the area.

Packrat nest.

6.4 miles, 413' elevation gain. From the Desert Vista Trailhead, we hiked the Hawks Nest Trail, Desert Tortoise Trail, Valle Verde Trail, Cactus Wren Trail, & Great Horned Owl Trail.
