The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been.

John's Ride: Dual Sport Desert Daze

John went for a ride this weekend, he participated in the Dual Sport Desert Daze ride. John rode about 100 miles Friday and about 200 miles Saturday. He said he had a great time and learned some things to do differently next trip. For his next ride he hopes to have a different luggage system and a bivy sack rather than a tent + sleeping bag.

John's riding partner, Becky; on her DRZebra.

A little bit of pavement.

Becky's only "oops" during a turn around. After John took her picture, he helped her pick up her bike.

The gas-line road.

This is my favorite scenery picture.

A view of the trail.

On the boarder, looking in to Mexico.

John called this a moonbow, to welcome him home.
