Hiking: Castle Creek Trail, Hells Canyon Wilderness (near Lake Pleasant)

This is exactly how my hiking buddy Frank and I began each morning.
Frank.
The trailhead and a sign-in log.
Liam standing on some unknown (to me) history.
The recent rains provided a lot of greenery.
An old dam and a water pipe that collected spring water.

Frank and Liam.
Liam Ari Puppypants.
A palm tree in the desert.
Buried treasure.
Buried treasure (a drill bit that is stuck).

The ocotillo are very green.

Being a desert dweller, I wonder what life was like when this was full of water.
Liam.
Liam is a very good hiking buddy, I love him so.

Some rocks are too big to put in my pocket and carry home.
Hearts in nature.

Frank and Liam.
Frank and Liam.
Frank and Liam, and another neat rock.

Glass insulators: want, but I can't reach.

Liam.
Liam.
Cacti meets Malinois.

I spy: Frank.
There were many well done cairns on this trail.
Frank and Liam enjoying the view.
Me, with Liam; Lake Pleasant in the distance.

Frank and Liam.
"Is it that way, Frank?" -Liam
A heart shaped rock to finish the hike.
