Hiking Madera Canyon's Elephant Head Trail with Tippet and Liam

This is Tippet's person, Liam loves her, too.

Beginning our hike, across a wash and off we go.

The ocotillo are in bloom.  With the lack of rain, the wildflowers are few this Spring.

I had to look this one up.  It's called a Silver Puff, and it's in the Sunflower family.

It was right about here where I lost my dog.  Fortunately, we found him.  I was mildly panicked and not leaving without my dog.

This is a good trail, nice views.
