Riparian and Rocks

My hiking buddy Frank made the long trek from his side of town to my side of town and we visited The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch; Joe's Farm Grill at Agritopia; Natural Expressions (a rock shop); and stopped by the house to visit my pack (Boca, Zane and Hera; and my host-dog, Riley).
Duck butts.
We saw several rats.  I don't really know my rats but these may be citrus rats.
The preserve is shared by people, dogs, and horses.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the day.
The hummingbird was in this tree.
Is it lunch time yet?

Grapes.
I thought Frank would like a rock shop I found in Gilbert, it's called Natural Expressions, Inc.  He did.  It's an amazing place with an immense collection.  The pictures I took only show a very small portion of what's there.  It's very much worth a visit: 13802 E Williams Field Rd, Gilbert, AZ.
Attn Flask: if rocks with holes in them bring good luck, these are for you.

Lastly, my son's old VW bug caught on fire today.  He wasn't injured.  The car is now a barbequed bug.
