"Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life." -John Muir

Playing In The Snow

We added some weight to the back of the truck for better traction.

I practiced my winter driving skills in ice and snow today.  No one was harmed nor was there any screaming.

Look, Katie-dear, I'm wearing my hat!

My Honey, mushing down his snow.

A view of the sunset from Palmyra Restaurant at The Peaks Resort.
.

My ID to get in and out of KTEX.  We're flying heli-ski season for Helitrax.  If you're near Telluride, come see us.
