Colorado Days

[Click on photos to see them enlarged]

Woof.

Bye guys, see you later.

Hi, from 9,000'.

Colorado.

It's pretty up here, I want to stay.

Colorado clouds.

Windy, windy, windy. I forgot my sunglasses and hair thingy, but was still quite happy to be in the wind.

Pretty colors in Colorado.

Cloudy Colorado days.

Cloudy, but still pretty.

Our daily stop to see the deer.

Rainy days.

Have Pets - Will Travel

We're home for a few days, my best wishes for a wonderful Independence Day to everyone. I'm a day or two behind on posting photos, it's nice to have high speed internet to catch up :)

Cierra gets some love.

There's a bug buggin' my girl.

My pretty girl on our daily romp in the pond.

I know I parked a helicopter around here somewhere.

Cierra fetching a stick from the water.

Colorado deer. They are fairly repetitious, we see them in the same places each day. I stop the truck and let Cierra watch for a moment.

Pretty Colorado skies.

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...

Have kittens - will travel. They may have been reading my book and monitoring my radio too.

Cierra naps in her kennel. We use a horse fleece pad, it's very soft for her aging joints.

Suki and Neko napping and playing in my purse.

Happy Birthday Jessica

Happy Birthday Sis, I hope your day is wonderful. I love you.

Flying High In The Sky In Colorado

[Click on photos to see them enlarged]

This is Ken, he's a supervisor. We took him out to see if his crew was working.

This is Barb, it's her first helicopter ride. I think she's happy - she's smiling and not screaming :)

Cierra, she's an experienced passenger.

Our happy girl, flying with the doors off.

Colorado views.

Have good cigar, will fly.

My Honey, xo

My Honey and his helicopter. In the mountains in Colorado.

It's so pretty here.

Go home to Arizona? I don't think so.

Ken looking down on his crew. Yes, they're working.

This is Trevor. We had to pick him up early, his wife is in labor. My best wishes to them and their new baby.

Cierra, swimming in the pond.

She walks for miles.

This is her "are you coming?" look.

One of a million squirrels. I haven't had much luck getting close to them, they disappear in the blink of an eye.

Cierra, exploring in the area where we park the helicopter.

Deer in a nearby field. The male has a lopsided rack.

What Do I Do All Day?

[Click on photos to see them enlarged]

I watch my dog sleep.

I watch my dog watch flies.

I watch my dog sleep some more.

I look to see if the helicopter is still there - yes, it's still there.

I watch deer.

I also watch ground squirrels but I haven't had any luck photographing them yet. I saw about six Elk on the way to Montrose, they were beautiful, majestic looking animals.
