Cierra and I went for a very short hike on Westwing Mountain, 1.51 miles. It was very windy, and once I started having comical visual images of myself and my dog sailing off the mountain in the breeze, I decided to turn back. My favorite thing about hiking Westwing is to visit its various peaks, but it was just too windy.

The most boring trail map, ever.
Cierra showing her good side at the trailhead.
Up we go, the first mile is a steep one.
Hiking dog extraordinaire waiting for me.
Stopping for a photo opp.
Normally from this point, I'd hike up the trail behind me to a peak, then come back down and hike the trail that you see in the distance that heads N/NE and continue up and around. It was so windy that I decided to turn back.
A neighborhood dog that greets us as we come and go. I feel for this dog, maybe he'd just like to get out and go for a hike =D
