Hiking: Cave Creek's Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area, Dragonfly Trail

Today I took NK (neighbor kid) out for his first hike and first geocaching experience. The weather was perfect with a sprinkling of rain. The hike went well, no one fainted.

Thanks to My Honey, I've started using Garmin BaseCamp. Using "tracks", we logged 3.90 miles today.

This may have been the best part of the hike for NK.


We all enjoyed watching Mr. Tarantula cross the trail. I wish I would have thought to put something in the photo for scale, Mr. Tarantula was no shrimp.
