This trip to Colorado has been filled with a wide variety of extremes: birth (a crew member flew home because his wife was in labor), accidental death (rest in peace Frank), a mountain rescue of an injured hiker (heal well Joe), elderly helicopter passengers (you were delightful at 93 Charles), and very young helicopter passengers (adorable Riley at 8 years old).
All these things remind me of how precious life is.
I dream of Columbus
With my maps and my beautiful charts
I dream of Columbus
And there's peace in a traveling heart

Morning moon in Naturita, CO.
A blackbird, a crow, a raven... I'm not sure.
Scott with his 8 year old grandson, Riley.
Getting ready to fly high in the sky. The property I call "the yard" where we fly from each day belongs to Scott and his family. In addition to that, if you look down the slope to the farm fields below - that's his too.
Riley at the controls.
Cierra is ready to go for a ride with Riley.
When Riley returns to school he'll have some interesting stories and photos to share about his summer.
Heli-dog is humorous.
Stacy, the most wonderful waitress ever, after her helicopter ride.
Lightning split this large tree in a park in Nucla, CO.
Lighting strike.
Wind gave this large tree a push.
Same tree. It's a shame, it takes years for trees to grow this big and tall.
