Lake Pleasant

Cierra and I spent the afternoon sitting at Lake Pleasant: listening to music, putting our feet (or paws) in the water, people watching, relaxing, and feeling the breeze in our hair (or fur).

Hello Mister Moon.

The Ironwood trees are in bloom.

Our first stop was nice but we were too far away from the water.

Pretty views.

This Saguaro will have many beautiful blooms soon.

The Palo Verde tree in bloom.

A beautiful day.

We found a Mallard pair.

Cierra swam out to greet them.

Near the boat ramp.

Cierra's rock diving.

This is her "help me" look. She doesn't want to get her ears wet trying to get that rock.

Rock diving.

My pretty girl.

She had the best of both worlds: cool water and a warm rock to sit on.

Bird watching.

A beautiful day in the sun.

Watching the clouds go by.

Cierra's favorite rock. We brought it home for her daddy.

Eye see you :)

And I see you too.

Cierra's "Squee!" face.

Watching the boats go by.

"Quack".

The Mallard pair would swim close to us but keep a cautious distance.

Cierra relaxing in the warm sun.

The 303 that intersects with Lake Pleasant Parkway is open now. No matter how far away we move from the city, the city keeps catching up with us.
