My Water Crazy Dog At My Mom's House

Cierra and I spent the day at my mom's house, helping with horse chores. Cierra is crazy about the water hose, and fortunately for her, there are a lot of water containers to fill at my mom's house.

The Accident Site

I went to my mom's house today. Traveling along Carefree Hwy I knew I was approaching the accident site. It was hard to breathe. I immediately saw the bandanas in the tree. After doing horse chores at my mom's house I stopped by the accident site to spend some time there. There was a steady stream of visitors to the site.

The black bandana is mine. Pinned with it is one from my mom, it is soft pastel colors, she picked it out for Dayle.


The calla lilies are from my mom. My mom is awesome to support my friends.

I am still so heartbroken over this senseless accident. I hope that riders and drivers never, ever forget this day.

Today a dump truck literally ran over my motorcycle riding friends while they were stopped at a traffic light. I have other pictures, but this one pretty much sums up the devastation of the situation.

There were ten riders with three fatalities at the accident site. Dayle passed away the following day.

Please pray for physical and emotional healing for: Ernie, Jason, Tod, Julie, Terry, Will, Margie and Janet.

Please pray for the families of: Dayle, Dan, Clyde, and Steve.

I have no words for the driver of the dump truck, it appears this accident was caused by his inattention*.

*Note: two weeks after the accident, Michael Jakscht was indicted with charges of manslaughter, aggravated assault and endangerment. Toxicology reports found methamphetamines in his system the day of the accident.

Mr. Bosseh-Pants and I went hiking at Bartlett Lake. There are wildflowers everywhere. It was a beautiful day.
