Hiking, Morgan City Wash, Lake Pleasant

Mr. Bosseh-Pants and I have hiked Morgan City wash several times. It's always a great hike. The pictures of me are courtesy of Mr. Bosseh-Pants.

Me, after completing the tree log walk of death.

I'm happy now, there is something to hold on to.

This is a great photo - so death defying! I'm about two feet off the ground. Hilarious.

Me.

Me. Fish gazing. Is that like star gazing, but for fish?

The heart shaped rock I picked up and brought home.

Beautiful day.

Little flowers.

One of many water crossings along the trail.

Looking up the trail.

Puffy cottony things that grow on the trees. I have no idea what these are really called.

Scenery from the trail.

Prickly.

This trail has a lot of climbing over, and ducking under. Great trail. I hope they never clear it and make it easier to navigate, it would ruin it.

Another water crossing.

I love this photo! This is a first for me - accidental bokeh. I didn't know I could get bokeh with a point 'n shoot camera.

Little flowers.

The best picnic lunch spot in the world.

My beloved cattails.

A friendly bee came to see me for lunch.

Morgan City Wash scenery.

Mr. Bosseh-Pants, spreading cattail fuzzies in to the breeze.

I don't know the name of that tree, those flowers, or that bush, but I'm going to say these are raccoon tracks. What do you think?

Cattails at the "pool".

What's Mr. Bosseh-Pants looking at? Oh, yes, he's fish gazing.

The trail.

Mr. Bosseh-Pants. We step out of the riparian area for some desert scenery.

One of those puffy cottony things.

From the wash we enter the riparian area. Birders would love this area.

Our destination, down there in the tree's.
