Geocaching, Billy Goat Style

Looking west while scrambling up the hill, no trail for this one

Looking north, my house is over there

Found the cache before sundown, time to go home

GC1GR6D

I placed my second geocache today.
Visit www.geocaching.com and search for GC1GR6D or "Frog Tanks Road Froggy Fun" and you'll find my cache details.
Oddly enough, the woman who seems to be attached to her camera at all times, has no photos of the cache site.

Neighborhood Humor

The work of a random tree hugger, sonoran desert style.

9 Cache Map = 6 Cache Find

James created a list of 9 geocaches and drew a map for us to follow for a day of geocaching. We started in the city and made our way out in to the desert. We did not find 2 of them, skipped 1, and found 6. It was a fun, busy day!

Too big for the swing? I think not

Hey James, whatcha doin' by that tree?

Ahhh... clever place to hide a cache

James, king of the mountain. Look at the development below and we wonder where has the desert gone?

Me

Cool tree-like cactus at one of the trailheads, I'd like to know what this is called

Leaving the pavement, let the fun begin!

No honey, I did not drive your truck on whoopties designed for quads...

Mom and son having way too much fun in the desert

The Alaskamobile in the desert at a CAP canal

I found a heart shaped rock, and I took it home

Jooohhhhhnnnn... you want me to hike up there?! UGH!!!

Saw some slow elk on the way to Burro

Geocaching, part 2

James - signing the log for Jamie's Froggy Fun

Me - Jamie's Froggy Fun (I'm not sure what this cache had to do with frogs)

James - No Fly Zone #1, this cache taught us where an airstrip used to be, an interesting history lesson because this is close to home and within a year or two it will be covered with shopping centers or new homes

James - No Fly Zone #1, signing the geocache log

The truck pointing to the cache - it knew better than we did where to look

Me - The PO, we almost gave up on this one, but good thing I didn't - I scored a free dinner in this one

Hiking, Geocaching and Me Learning How To Use The Evil GPS

California (movie)

Most of my photos look like those of a tourist and her dog, but my heart is with the firefighters, I learned a great deal during this trip about the work they do and sacrifices they make.
