A Day Spent Flying High In The Sky - Deadhorse to Ikpikpuk to Beard Head to Barrow and back to Deadhorse
The momma Caribou.
The junior Caribou with Swans in the background.
Bird prints in the sand.
A feather under water.
Tiny flowers on the tundra.
The pattern on the ground reminded me of a giraffe.
Momma Polar Bear with two cubs. We counted 19 Polar Bears this day.
Pretty views from way up high in the sky.
The back half of my better half.
Foggy landing in Barrow.
Alaska's barrier islands.
Barrier islands off the Northern coast of the North Slope, Alaska.
Erosion along the Northern coast. A few inches of tundra sits on top of several feet of solid ice known as permafrost.
The eroding coastline.
Old Alaskan homestead.
My honey taking a picture of me...
