New Tattoos

Little kid art is the best.
Some of my inspiration.  I LOVE these black cats, so cute!  They are fingernail decals, I don't recall where I found the image.
This is Marge ("hi Marge!").  My tattoo guy, Chris Bailey, moved to California.  He recommended the ladies at Lady Luck Tattoo in Phoenix.  I'd highly recommend Marge, she's awesome-possum!
Black cats.
A tribute to my much loved dogs.
Both feetsies, all done.  I'm happy.
The sun and clouds on my drive home.

Full Moon And A New Tattoo

We had two full moons in August, the 1st and the 31st. The second full moon of the month is called a blue moon.

My tattoo guy, Chris Bailey, has relocated to California. He returned to Scottsdale to do some work this weekend. He says he'll return every few months, which is a good thing, I have several more tattoos planned and it's Chris I trust.

Red Hummingbird

I saw Chris at Inkenstein Tattoo today for one more tattoo before my travels take me out of the area.

The original drawing was tri-colored, I opted to make mine a single color. Red is one of My Honey's favorite colors, it's my way of honoring him. The leather bracelet reads "not all those who wander are lost".

My Quails, Finally

Normal women spend their money on new purses, new shoes, manicures, pedicures, having their hair done, etc. To that I say: Pfffttt...

I spend mine on tattoos.

This is Chris, or mostly the top of Chris' head. He's located at Inkenstein Tattoo in historic Glendale, AZ. I highly recommend Chris, he's really good. I also met his wife and son, his son is soooo cute.

Chris, inking the outline.

The three outlines are done.

Three little faces.

They seem to have acquired nicknames:

"Rusty"

"Slate"

"Tangerine"

Both legs. I had the butterfly done by Chris last year. I have a few more ideas for future tattoos, so I'll be back soon :)

New Tattoo

I decided to add a tattoo of a butterfly to my collection in honor of Dayle, and in honor of life, love and new beginnings.

Chris Bailey at Inkenstein Tattoo Company did the butterfly. I've seen some of Chris' other work and I'd highly recommend him.

Chris, getting started.

Me with Chris.

The outline of the butterfly.

Chris, hard at work, which is a good thing, his work is very precise.

The shop is located in a historic house in Glendale, AZ.

Filling in the outline.

Lastly, adding the color.

Done :)

The day after. The six lower butterflies around my ankle were done in 1997.

Happy :)
