We arrived at the airport at dark-thirty to begin our day. The snowplow is blowing snow off the runway in the distance.
They're busy with snow removal. The moon is in the right side of the photo.
KTEX snow removal.
My own personal ice skating rink in the corner of the airport. I only fueled here once today then moved South to Trout Lake for the remainder of the day.
The snow blower on the runway.
A cold place to keep my yogurt refrigerated.

A snow day, there will be no flying high in the sky today.
We went to the local grocery store where grocery prices are double what they should be and we pay .25 cents for each paper grocery sack we use at check-out.
I found this at the grocery store. I don't know what it is. Anyone? (Update: I've since learned this is called a "Buddha's Hand")
I took this photo on the way home from the grocery store. I couldn't have lined up the truck with that mirror if I tried to.
Snowy afternoon.
This morning I got to fly with My Honey and help with avalanche control.
An early start this morning.
We helped assemble the explosives. (Angela, Joe and My Honey)
Some of the explosives used for avalanche control. We also had about 20 "small" explosives in addition to several large ones.
Every available space was stuffed with explosives.
Part of the explosives were used nearby a local mining operation, so we picked up "mine guy" (I don't recall his name) and he flew with us.
Scenery.
This would have been prettier had the light been different.

Boom! A small man made avalanche.
Pretty Colorado.
