New Tattoo
I decided to add a tattoo of a butterfly to my collection in honor of Dayle, and in honor of life, love and new beginnings.
Chris Bailey at Inkenstein Tattoo Company did the butterfly. I've seen some of Chris' other work and I'd highly recommend him.

Chris, getting started.

Me with Chris.

The outline of the butterfly.

Chris, hard at work, which is a good thing, his work is very precise.

The shop is located in a historic house in Glendale, AZ.

Filling in the outline.

Lastly, adding the color.

Done :)

The day after. The six lower butterflies around my ankle were done in 1997.

Happy :)

Weekend Rides
This past weekend there was an event at the Walgreens near the accident site to honor the fallen and the funds raised by the Management team at Walgreens.
The decision was made to remove the bandanas from the "bandana tree", I was a little sad to see them removed, they were such a colorful reminder of those we love.

The bandana tree, and the memorial site.

My black bandana in the tree.
It's 100+ degrees, we left to get cooled off and get a bite to eat.

Thing One and Thing Two
So far I've been unable to get pictures of Cierra and Samson together. It's not for lack of trying. Sammy is unimpressed with my picture taking and usually gets up and leaves when he see's the camera. Cierra thinks she's the star of the show so she sits up and poses for me. *sigh*
Today I had a little luck:

Roadrunner In My Yard
I spotted a Roadrunner in my yard this afternoon. I also see a lot of Quail in the area but haven't seen any in my yard yet. I think the Roadrunner had less fear of my dog(s) than the Quail would.

The Roadrunner watching me watching him.

Finally, he spots my dog and decides to leave.

Over the fence and on to the golf course.
These pictures were taken using a 15x zoom with my new Panasonic DMC-ZS7. I am impressed with what this camera can do.

James + Home Sweet Home
After James' post-graduation trip to Washington DC, I spent part of the day with him before he returned to Tucson. It was also moving weekend for me - moving is not for wimps, but I am settled and happy.

James at Denny's for breakfast saying "awww, look, a heart".

Mom and son. When did he become 10 feet tall?!

Cierra's new golf course views.

Hawaii, Arizona.
Just kidding. There are several small palm trees in my back yard.

Sammy, watching the new neighborhood.

Cierra's new companion, this is Sammy, he is a gentle giant.

Playing with my new camera, this is my normal view of the golf course from my back yard.

Using the 12x zoom, this is my view of the golf course far away :)
