Hiking: Sweetwater Preserve, Tucson, AZ

My dogs and I went on a hike at Sweetwater Preserve in Tucson with my dad, his wife, my son, his girlfriend, and their Poodle puppy Pablo.  We hiked approximately four miles, then had lunch at Lowe's Ventana Resort.  The resort is dog friendly, and the grounds are lovely.  It was a nice day.

The large ponds include Koi.

Tired puppy.  Pablo is 9 weeks old.  He walked and was carried for his first hike.

Sweetwater Preserve has many loop trail options.  Very few Tucson area preserves allow dogs, this one allows dogs, mountain bikes, and horses.
