Hiking: Lake Pleasant, AZ, Pipeline Canyon Trail to Cottonwood Trail

Ready to go.
Lake Pleasant Park Docent, Frank, is leading the hike today.
(Yes, my hiking buddy Frank).
There were two other hikers.
Off we go.
Overlooking Lake Pleasant.
Boca enjoyed his hike very much.  He's amazing for a blind dog, full of confidence and eager to explore.
Listening to Frank, he's a wealth of knowledge.
Lone Cottonwood tree.
Momma burro and baby burro.
Momma burro and baby burro.
Baby burro.
Baby burro was very fuzzy.
Dry ground.
Native American metate.
Happy hiking dog.
The trail was an out and back trail.
The end of our hike.
3 miles, 73 F degrees.
YTD: 90 miles.

what a spectacular landscape!!

and so different from mine- i thought of you a couple of days ago when i hiked a couple miles up a mountain here and then had to go down so quickly before i froze to death. tricky descending, with all the ice.

i STILL don't feel warm.
