Mr. Bosseh-Pants and I took the dogs for a hike in Morgan City Wash. As always, this is a nice hike, a great place for the dogs to play in the water. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day.

Fuzzies on the Cottonwood trees.
Mr. Bosseh-Pants sharing his water with Melissa.
(HW thinks this is icky).
For one so small, Melissa is quite the hiker.
Lovely water streams for the dogs to enjoy.
A very happy GSD.
"Yes Mom, I'm happy, see?"
A young lizard.
Cierra in the tree.
Water, water everywhere.
Happy hiking dog.
The "pool" area.
I found a heart shaped rock near the pool. I brought it home to add to my collection.
There are two large boulders in the bottom of the pool, we don't recall these being there before.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 near the pool.
"Come on down Cierra, the water's fine!"
Swim, swim, swim.
Wet dog makes sure everyone gets sprayed with water from the pool.

Melissa, the sturdy little hiking dog, waits for her dad.
We took a different trail today.

Mushroom.
This is where I stopped on the uphill climb and pretended to enjoy the scenery, which is lovely, but really...
... I was hot and tired and ready for some one to carry me up the hill :)
Mr. Bosseh-Pants had the back seats folded down flat. Cierra likes to sit on the floor behind the front seats, but she couldn't get down there, so she shoved her face in the tiny space and sulked most of the ride home.

Great pics as always. I found it funny that you and I carry our leashes in the same spot- clipped to the shoulder strap on our packs (well I put mine on my left side but anyways).
