Even though it's been two years since I visited Alaska, I still follow their news. I was amused by the colorful ski costumes and I liked the Monarch Butterflies the best. Here's an explanation of the event:
The 14th annual Alaska Ski for Women was held on Feb. 7, 2010, in Anchorage, Alaska, at beautiful Kincaid Park. It's North America’s largest women-only cross-country ski event...many in colorful costumes...while raising funds for local non-profit organizations that help stop the cycle of domestic abuse against women and children...
